Chic Hobo Bag

I came up with this idea while looking around my local "Hobby Lobby" store. I was looking for something a little different, a different fabric or something I could make a cute Christmas present for my Sister and Best Friend out of. I came across these little beauties:

After opeing them and realizing they were like a cute bag without the handles, I knew I could make this into a cute Christmas present!
To start you will need:
-1 Decorative pillow cover
-1/8 yard of coordinating fabric

Step 1- After taking the deorative pillow out of the package you will want to turn the corners inside out and make a very small cut on the seam. It doesn't need to be a very big cut, just big enough to fit your finger through.

Step 2- Cut your coordinating fabric the size you want your strap to be. A good size I found was 6 inches wide and 46 inches long. Then you just need to either sew or hot glue the edges together. You will then have a tube, you will then want to turn it inside out.

Step 3- Once you have your tube you will want to attach it to the sides of your pillow. Just slip the straps in each end of the pillow and then you can either sew the corrners or hot glue them together.

TaDa! You are done! So easy and so much fun!
